Patrick Woodyard and Kip Wright's appreciation
Patrick Woodyard and Kip Wright would like to thank you for facilitating one of the most enlightening, challenging, and memorable journeys of our lives. We would like to say that we could not be any more impressed by you men. We have praised your names and your organization at home already through emails, yet when we return, we will let the whole country know how spectacular the Friends In Need Integrated Development Project really is.
Michael Lamb mentioned to us that you guys would help out with our every need. I know that we could not have imagined a group of men more helpful than you have been to us. Dan Kibago is an amazing person who is ethical, hard working, and determined. We both have said that if he lived in America, he would be a very wealthy man. You should feel blessed to have him on the FINIDP team.
We could not have enjoyed our stay nearly as much as we have without the help of this man. Sabiti Mukasa was right there beside us through out our three-week stay as well. He provided us with important knowledge, light-hearted humor, and a reminder to be nice and talk to EVERYONE. He should be a statesman in the government representing all of the Mukono District. We could not have been more impressed by David Kaggwa and his interaction with the orphans last week. His description as a professional guidance counselor does not say enough about this man.
We both decided that we wished we would have had him as a teacher in our experience in secondary school. He has a true gift for being with kids, and we hope to raise funds and help the orphanage where he works as well. Zziwa Ahmed- just saying the name brings a warm feeling to our hearts. The founder of FINIDP, he is one of the nicest, well-organized people we have ever met. His compassion and intelligence exemplifies professionalism, and he is a perfect symbol of the FINIDP team as a whole.
We have learned so much in the past three weeks that our minds race just thinking about it. The orphan project is well organized and infinitely beneficial-it could not be better in any way; the livestock and hygiene project will pay back ten fold in the near future; the HIV awareness programs has saved lives already. You should be proud of the work and the organization that you have. After this visit, we are 110% positive that the money that we have donated to FINIDP’s will be used to its maximum efficiency. Thank you for allowing us to feel the way we do! Our job now is to go home and tell the world what we have seen, and to raise more funds and awareness in our communities so that more lives are saved here in Mukono District, Uganda.
Thank you for your admirable determination and may God bless you all for the hard work you have done for His kingdom.
